Welcome to Vuubl (the "Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). We operate a digital signage content management software designed to display schedules, menus, slides, and announcement content on connected TV, monitor, or tablet screens.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you access or use our websites, applications, API endpoints, screen player clients, or when you interact with us directly.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
A. Information You Provide:
- Account Credentials: Email address, passwords, name, and organization or workspace name.
- Billing & Payment Information: Payment card details or bank information. These are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers.
- User Content: Text, images, layouts, scheduling times, templates, and video files uploaded to design signage playlists.
B. Information Collected Automatically:
- Screen Player Telemetry: Log data from devices running Vuubl Player (e.g. system uptime, network ping, local storage utilization, display orientation, and resolution details) to verify playback status.
- Log & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, referring URLs, operating system, and system clicks inside the web dashboard.
- Cookies: Small session state identifiers used strictly to manage login sessions, settings configurations, and command palette preferences.
3. How We Use Information
We use the collected information for the following specific business purposes:
- Service Provision: To create and manage accounts, provision workspace invite links, route content updates to screen players, and resolve layout templates.
- Billing & Operations: To process subscriptions, generate invoices, track billing statuses, and manage plans.
- Troubleshooting & Performance: To detect offline player devices, debug player application crashes, analyze server performance, and prevent security vulnerabilities.
- Customer Support: To respond to email inquiries, fix media upload errors, and offer platform assistance.
- Service Communications: To send transactional emails such as email verifications, password resets, and critical workspace changes. We do not sell or lease your email details to advertising networks.
4. Subprocessors & Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with service providers (subprocessors) that perform necessary tasks on our behalf:

5. Data Security & Integrity
We implement industry-standard physical, electronic, and administrative controls to secure the data in our possession. All data transmitted through our web services and screen players is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and at rest within our primary databases and storage buckets.
Please note, however, that no method of internet transmission or database storage can be guaranteed 100% secure. While we strive to employ best practices to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your workspace account remains active, or as necessary to fulfill the purposes detailed in this Privacy Policy, comply with tax/regulatory rules, resolve database disputes, and enforce our service contracts.
When a user deletes their account or workspace, we remove account meta-information, media assets, and display parameters from our active servers in accordance with database teardown routines, subject to standard backups.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your geographic location, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data under the GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks:
- Access and Rectification: You can edit your name, workspace parameters, and account password directly inside the Settings page of the platform.
- Data Portability: You can download or export your uploaded files from the media library at any time.
- Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can initiate account deletions or organization closures by writing to our support team.
- Marketing Opt-out: You can unsubscribe from optional emails using the link provided at the bottom of our emails.
